being a subscriber to LUTV for the past 4 years i really do appreciate the service they provide.

however their latest exclusive does not sit well. the next 2 games against SK Brann and Wolves will be shown live as a "pay per view" on LUTV, yep great, however if you want to watch it you have to pay 5 pound (even tho the sk brann game will only have one camera) each! first off in the last 3 Elland Road pre season friendlies all have been shown on LUTV free of charge so why now do we have to pay to watch them? secondly (in my situation) this 5 pound goes on top of the 40 pound it costs a season to subscribe. yes overall that does not seem to cost too much, and it doesnt, but we are getting less for our money this season then we did last. and to sum things up whatever happend to overseas subscribers being able to watch match highlights 30mins after full time???

theres my whinge for tonight. goodnight all :)

Totally agree with you there tommy.
My earlier reactions have been against the blocking of viewing for overseas subscribers. I used to really enjoy logging on to see the highlights
30 minutes/1hr after listening to the game via LUTV Radio.
Like you and no doubt others of us abroad, I was also shocked to read we have to pay an extra fiver to watch the games as...as you said...last time around specific games were there (especially in Ireland) to watch as freebies. This I suppose is where the business of Leeds United comes in.I'm not too pleased about it, so I won't pay and I'll just do what I normally do and wait the 3 days before highlights are shown. End of.

Yet again Bates is taking the piss out of Leeds' fan base.

I will not be stumping up the £5 on pinciple, afterall they are just two meaningless shitty pre season friendlies FFS.

Oldham (a) in the FA cup live on the net = FREE

SK Bran flakes in a nawt game = £5 - the guy is taking the piss.

Why is it also, that if I want updating on Leeds topics, I can get more information on the YEP Online site than I can on the O/S??
SG seems to talk freely about still scouting for new players up and until September 1st to the paper, but the O/O are stuck on selling the Wolves tickets?

Plus, on LUTV, we managed to view the bury and Hartlepool games the day after...so I was wrong in my last post about waiting 3 days. Sunday viewing for me then.

In fairness, it was a FL Trial was the Oldham game, so out of Leeds' hands, but pre-seasons last year were there as freebie viewings. Why charge for these two I wonder, there's certainly nothing special them is there??

To charge £5 extra for meaningless pre-season friendlies is an absolute piss-take. End of.

How short-sighted can the Leeds hierachy be? Will the paltry amount of money they'll make be worth the bitterness the move is causing amongst Leeds supporters? And lack of good will being shown by the club (again!)

Shocking! :Wrong:
