iv been reading alot of forums about this topic and people are split so im wondering weather we want to or not??

I personally would as it would only be one more game and it would be nice to add some silverware to the cabinet. Plus its a day out for the fans at wembley who deseavre something .

On the down side it would mean one more game plus the players might put more effort into carlisle or the final then they would with a normal league game

I was just curous to see who wants us to win or who wants us just too get out of this cup quick

in a nut shell yes.

Ok the trophy itself means fuck all but considering we have put out our full strength team in this competition for the last 3 years if we dont win it then something is very wrong????

A day out at Wembly with 40K Leeds would be very nice.

Don't really see how the possibility of playing one more game at Wembley would prevent us "focusing on the league"?

Would be a nice day out.

I cant believe the title of this thread !!

As a true Leeds United Fan, I want us to win EVERY SINGLE GAME we play, for the pride, the passion, the reputation, WE ARE LEEDS, stuff all this "ooh i'd rather concentrate on the league", these guys are getting paid Professional footballer wages paid for by the loyal fans who pay their hard earned cash week in week out to watch them play, we don't wanna see Leeds lose, thats no fun. Go win the League, go win the JPT, ON ON ON

Nice one - any Leeds fan should be wanting us to win - especially in a cup final or semi final even quarter final - our record in 'FINALS' (play off finals included) - is not great.

Two games away from a trophy, can only be one answer to that question surely. And it may be a insignificant trophy, but a trophy all the same, as well as the day out at wembley.

On a serious note too, imagine what it will do for morale within the club if we get the win at carlisle and qualify for the final after losing the first leg. I honestly think confidence will spread through the side and the momentum can be carried on into the league.

Like every other leeds match, ill be gutted if we lose, and over the moon if we win.

Prediction: 0-2 Jonny Howson (2)....who ever said lightening dont strike in the same place twice haha!

yes but i read other forums and some leeds fans saying they want us to lose... and that its a pissweak cup a waste of time

While I want us to win every game, I hate it when we draw or lose to the teams in league 1.

The league is our bread and butter, cup games are the jam, and while a good run or winning the JPT, taste sweet, without the bread and butter they ain't worth shit.
