Thought I'd start up a thread to keep things running. One season over and now greener pastures on the horizon so post up all transfer activity whether it be rumours, done deals or just wishful thinking.

To start things up who do we see leaving the club???

I've added a permanent 'Announcement' at the top of the page, to enable financial contributions to the site.

I've kept it ultra-simple and would obviously be exremely grateful if some of you could chip in with a few quid.

To give you some idea of costings: at present, and for the past five months, I've been paying £12 each month - so with domain costs on top, we're talking of £175+ to keep it running each year.

Unless anyone objects, I'll post a 'thank you' on the site each time I receive a payment.

Ok, lets put our tinted Leeds specs to one side and head to real street. Can any of us see anything other than a relegation dogfight this season? Forget the optimism a couple of months ago at being promoted. Forget your thoughts of "spend a couple of million on 3 or 4 half decent players", forget your dreams. The reality of the situation is we have done jack shit in the transfer market and are missing a decent centre back, decent centre mid and a decent striker. Where has the money gone from Delph, last years cup runs, promotion etc? I kept telling myself a couple of good signings would happen. I kept telling myself the championship is wide open and anything can happen. But in fairness we have not invested in the right areas and our squad at the moment is not good enough. I think we are in for a long season. Watch this space, dont forget Uncle Lofty said I told you so.

being a subscriber to LUTV for the past 4 years i really do appreciate the service they provide.

however their latest exclusive does not sit well. the next 2 games against SK Brann and Wolves will be shown live as a "pay per view" on LUTV, yep great, however if you want to watch it you have to pay 5 pound (even tho the sk brann game will only have one camera) each! first off in the last 3 Elland Road pre season friendlies all have been shown on LUTV free of charge so why now do we have to pay to watch them? secondly (in my situation) this 5 pound goes on top of the 40 pound it costs a season to subscribe. yes overall that does not seem to cost too much, and it doesnt, but we are getting less for our money this season then we did last. and to sum things up whatever happend to overseas subscribers being able to watch match highlights 30mins after full time???
