I've added a permanent 'Announcement' at the top of the page, to enable financial contributions to the site.

I've kept it ultra-simple and would obviously be exremely grateful if some of you could chip in with a few quid.

To give you some idea of costings: at present, and for the past five months, I've been paying £12 each month - so with domain costs on top, we're talking of £175+ to keep it running each year.

Unless anyone objects, I'll post a 'thank you' on the site each time I receive a payment.

Cheers!

Think we've got problems - but, looking at the current league table, their fans can't be happy?

1 Norwich 30 33 63
2 Leeds United 28 29 61
3 Charlton 30 20 57
4 Colchester 29 16 55
5 Millwall 29 12 49
6 Swindon 27 8 49
7 Huddersfield 27 20 46

Thought they looked a class act when they drew at Elland Road - but, given the money they've invested this season, are surely underachieving?

The six teams above them all look strong and in form: more than capable of edging them out?

Thoughts?

iv been reading alot of forums about this topic and people are split so im wondering weather we want to or not??

I personally would as it would only be one more game and it would be nice to add some silverware to the cabinet. Plus its a day out for the fans at wembley who deseavre something .

On the down side it would mean one more game plus the players might put more effort into carlisle or the final then they would with a normal league game

I was just curous to see who wants us to win or who wants us just too get out of this cup quick

Feb. is a massive month

Just had a look at the Leeds fixtures for the rest of the season and its made me realise what a massive month is ahead of us.

For a start we have alot of games coming up, including the JPT we have midweek games all the way through the month. All the games SHOULD be seen as 3 pointers, with huddersfield away coming up last game of the month which could be a tricky one.

Orient away, Walsall home, Brighton home, Oldham home, then Huddersfield away end of the month.

With the amount of time between games, momentum is everything and with a difficult march coming up (Southampton and Norwich away, Millwall at home) i reckon...massive statement coming up... if were not top at the end of Feb it will be very hard to get there. I know there is alot of football to be played and i do honestly reckon we will go up, but if were to win this league i think we have to be top when March comes round.

In saying that i think we'll win all our games coming up including the huddersfield game, go up as champions and win the JPT to boot. But that might be my heart over my head haha.

Arse in gear Time

Okay, after listening to the game yesterday and not being overly impressed, I went away for my usual 'uh! only one point' sulk. This morning while you lot in the UK were still tucked up in bed I looked a few things up to get the positive feel about things.
1. At first I thought 'ok, a draw away at Hartlepool, that can't be too bad'. WRONG! They currently have the worst Form Rating in League One.
2. We are still 4 points ahead of Charlton and 2 games in hand. This is true.
3. I left the argument of Charlton and looked up the 'dark horses' of the league run in...Colchester. WORRIED. Has anyone even looked at the games they have remaining? The majority of their games left I would take them seriously as second place candidates, because they too have 2 games in hand over Charlton. If they win those, they are just one win behind us at current standings.
This is why I say we have to get our arse in gear...and quick. This is not (as our luck has it) like other years in this flaming league. It is not so wide open anymore, and as recent history in 2010 has proven, there are too many twists and turns before feeling comfortable again.

We have 3 very 'winnable' games ahead of us (discounting the jpt...sorry Duke), before we have the games against 'udders, Southampton and the likes.
Tired legs are no longer to be an excuse. Playing players out of position should not be an excuse. Every team has a blip should not be used as an excuse.

Can you even imagine what it could feel like IF we don't go up this year? It will be devastating, and probably the best opportunity we have had so far. To cock it up would be horrendous, and a fear of falling into the same stigma that the likes of 'udders has done that has kept them in their lowly position for all these years...its not worth even worth a glancing thought.

As yet, I refuse to panic, but my nevr say die attitude is beginning to wane a bit. I beleive that our style of football really is geared up for the higher divisions, as we have proven against Liverpuddle, Manure and Splurts...as well as some of our league displays earlier this season, but thats a fat lot of good if we can't get results in this league is it?

Colchester are the main threat...not Charlton
